FAQs

I want to become a referee but have never been a ref.
Do you train new officials?

Absolutely!  We begin our formal training in October and we cover rules, movement, signals, and on-court work.  We will get you ready to officiate high school games!

If I become an official, when will I work?

High school basketball games occur after classes are finished.
Freshman games begin mid afternoon, JV games thereafter, and Varsity game start in the early evening.

How many games will I work in a season?

That is up to you!
You will set your calendar availability, and our assignor will see which games fit your schedule best.

How much do you get paid per game?

Typically, freshman and junior varsity games pay ~$70 a game.

Varsity games pay ~$90 a game.
